Cattermole Off?

So, with rumours that Lee Cattermole could be on his way for £3m, what should Gareth Southgate do about the deal? The academy graduate is rumoured to be on his way for £3m to Wigan after a bid for him was lauched a week or so ago.

There is no doubt that Cattermole always gives 100%, he will battle to the end, is passionate and is not afraid to get stuck in where it hurts. He is full of energy and has a good shot on him so in theory would be an ideal signing for any club who will give him time to mature.

However, he is not the best when it comes to discipline. He is a booking waiting to happen whenever he plays and gives away too many free kicks. Catts also lets his mouth go and although he has played with George Boateng many times, it doesnt seem like George's professional attitude has rubbed off on him. With rumours about his off the field antics disappointing many fans it could be time that Cattermole was offloaded to another club for a hansome price.

I think £3m is a good value and although he could mature into a good Premier League player, at the moment his negatives outway the positives.
