Carbone u-turn

The loan deal to bring Benito Carbone to Boro for the remainder of the season looked to be dead and buried this morning but for some reason Carbone has changed his mind.

Bradford chairman Geoffrey Richmond said "Beni, in the perfect world, made it clear that he wanted to go on a permanent deal to Middlesbrough. What was on offer was a three-month loan, but with a very serious view to it being permanent. It is the lure of again playing in the Premiership which has led to his change of mind."

It is believed he will travel to Teesside on Friday morning to put pen to paper.
