Gareth Southgate has admitted to being delighted with the recent form of goalkeeper Ross Turnbull over the past few games.

Turnbull has made the most of being handed the number one jersey in recent game's much to the delight of the Boro boss.

"The three games he had last week were outstanding," Southgate has said.

"He's really performed incredibly well.

"I'm delighted for him and it gives the team confidence that you've got a goalkeeper making saves so that if you don't defend well he's there pulling off match-winning saves or point-winning saves."
