James Morrison, who has tasted first team football at the highest level of late, and Matthew Bates both started for England U-19's at Carrow Road against the Czech Republic.

Morrison played up front and was close to scoring early in the match, he was substituted after an hours play. Bates played the full 90 minutes in the centre of defence.

Another Boro youngster Andrew Taylor was an unused substitute.

The match ended 1-1, England equalising with just ten mintes remaining, after the Czech's had taken an undeserved lead mid-way through the second half.
