Boro v Xanthi: ticket news

Tickets for the home leg of Boro’s UEFA Cup first round tie with Emerson’s new side Xanthi on Thursday September 15 (KO to be confirmed) will go on sale from 9.30am this Wednesday (September 7).

The tickets will initially be available from the main Riverside ticket office. They will also be available from the ticket facility at MFC Retail in Middlesbrough town all day Thursday and Friday plus Saturday morning.

Postal applications are also being accepted, though telephone bookings are not being taken at this stage.

All tickets are priced £20 for adults and £10 for under-16s and over-65s.

Season ticket holders have until close of business on Tuesday September 13 to claim their usual matchday seat at a discounted price. Voucher D is required from season ticket holders who wish to claim their usual seat.

Several thousand tickets, for seats not normally used by season ticket holders, are available on general sale from this Wednesday September 7.

Postal applications, including a stamped, self-addressed envelope, should be sent to: Xanthi (Home) Ticket Application, Middlesbrough FC, Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough, TS3 6RS.

Season ticket holders who require their usual seat should remember to include a fully completed Voucher D with their application.

Payment can be made by credit card/debit card or cheque made payable to Middlesbrough Football Club with a cheque guarantee card number written on the reverse. Credit/debit card payments incur a £2 booking fee.

Any seats not claimed by season ticket holders by close of business on Tuesday September 13 will go on general sale from 9.30am on Wednesday September 14. Telephone bookings on 0870 421 1986 will also be accepted from this date.

Ticket and travel details are not yet available for the second leg in Xanthi, which will take place on Thursday September 29 (kick-off 9pm local time; 7pm UK time).
