The Sunday Sun claims Boro are tracking Czech youngster Borek Dockal.
Dockal has been checked playing for the Czech Republic Under-21 side.
The 21-year-old is an attacking player and has scored three times during the Czech Under-21s’ start to their 2011 European Championship qualifying campaign.
The Czechs have won four out of four qualifiers, scoring 14 goals and lead Germany in their group.
