Reports from Portugal this morning claim that Boro have signed Cameroon star Rodolph Douala from Sporting Lisbon in a deal worth 2.5m euros. To date there has been no official confirmation from Boro.
Boro have long been admirers of the winger, ever since Sporting knocked Boro out of the UEFA Cup, in our first European campaign last year. He will join up with ex-teammate Fabio Rochemback who joined Boro last summer.
It is also believed that Boro are close to agreeing a £4m deal for defender Robert Huth from Chelsea.
