Boro Reserves gain point at Sunderland

Massimo Maccarone became the seventh Boro player to score for the Reserves, as they boosted their tally to eleven goals in six games. He netted in four minutes upon his return from injury.

The goal was created from a right wing cross from Michael Ricketts. However, the lead was lost right on the stroke of half time.

Maccarone went off on the hour mark and the game ended up all square.
