Boro Reserves gain point against Geordies

A spirited fight back from 2-0 down enabled the resrves to feel happy with their efforts last night.

Newcastle took the lead after 33 minutes with a goal from Lewis Guy. Then things started to look bad for Boro as within seconds of the second half they went two down with Guy scoring again, the ball deflected off Davies setting up the Newcastle striker for a volley on the edge of the box. He made no mistake.

After 65 minutes Boro hit back. Andrew Taylor was brought down just inside the penalty area and Jonathan Greening scored from the spot.

Boro pressed forward after this and got the equaliser in stoppage time with an excellent goal from Danny Graham.
