Boro play down Boksic and Gavin rumours.

It had been widely reported today that Boksic was locked in talks with none other than Real Madrid over a £1 million move to Spain. This was immediately denied by McClaren though, " We have had no approach from any club for Alen, furthermore he is in the squad for the game against Fulham."

He also denied rumours that Jason Gavin was about to make a shock move to Leeds, saying, "It's news to me. There's certainly been no contact from Leeds about Jason."

Gianluca Festa is yet to complete his move to Portsmouth, with Boro and the Italian yet to agree a pay off and Portsmouth are now looking to take him on loan initially so he can play tomorrow against Watford.
