Ross Turnbull has seen his three month loan to Oldham Athletic of League One collapse.

Oldham wanted a loan of over three months but Boro could not agree and also did not want the player to play in Cup games and become Cup-tied.

The six-foot four, 20 year-old from Bishop Auckland has yet to play for the Boro first team. He has first team experience at Darlington, Bradford and Barnsley making a total of 30 starts.

One player has however left on loan. Andrew Davies has left Boro for a season long loan to Championship side Derby County.
