Boro duo called up for England U-21's

The call up for Downing has quashed the rumours that he would be called up by Sven Goran Erikkson for the full squad, while Turnbull has received his first call up for the U-21's after representing England at youth level. The Boro stopper is currently on loan at Barnsley where he has played 6 games this season.

The U-21's take on their Spanish counterparts next Tuesday at the Estadio Municipal et Val in Alcalá de Henares.
