Boro Cannot Raise £900,000 For Hovancik!

Hovancik trained with Boro earlier this month and the Slovakian impressed the backroom staff.

But Kosice's head of football development Allen Bula says Boro have
failed to meet their minimum asking price of £900,000.

The pressure is on ... Bula says others are interested, but he would wouldn't he!

It's a waiting game, and don't rule out the player becoming available at a cut-price £500,000, because Hovancik is desperate for a move.

Allen Bula: "I can confirm that top clubs in Spain, Italy, Germany, Serbia and the UK have informed MFK Kosice and Matic's agent they are interested in him, and offers will come in very soon.

"We will wait until January to see what's best for the club and the players."
