Gareth Southgate has been chasing Leroy Lita since he was released by Reading at the end of last season, and he beat Sheffield United to the signing.
Southgate: “Leroy has a hunger to score goals and his goalscoring record in the Championship in particular is very strong. His record says he gets one in two at this level so that will be important for us.
“I think he has a point to prove and, when he's fully fit, he will relish the challenge.”
