Bailey wants double figures

New Middlesbrough signing Nicky Bailey has set himself a double-figure goals target for the forthcoming Championship campaign. The 26-year-old midfielder completed his switch from Charlton on Wednesday evening, signing a three-year contract at the Riverside. "I'm very happy to be here and I'm sure I will settle in quickly and hopefully I'll do well," said Bailey. "I always look to score as many goals as I can but if I'm not the one scoring the goals and the strikers are, I'm going to be just as happy. "As long as we get promoted it doesn't really matter who scores but I always set myself a target of 10 goals and if I can get that as early as possible I can build from there." Bailey scored 25 league goals in his two seasons with Charlton after joining them from Southend.
