Middlesbrough caretaker manager Steve Agnew has one injury worry ahead of the trip to Norwich. Julio Arca picked up a knee injury in the 2-1 defeat to Leeds last week and faces a battle to be fit for the game at Carrow Road. Midfielder Barry Robson is serving the last game of his three-match suspension and is unavailable while youngster Richie Smallwood impressed after coming off the bench to make his debut in the defeat to Nottingham Forest and is pushing for his first senior start. Kevin Thomson and Justin Hoyte are both back in light training after spells on the sidelines but it is not known whether the game on Saturday could come too soon for the pair. Jonathan Franks, Matt Kilgallon, Willo Flood and Rhys Williams all remain on the casualty list.
