Julio Arca appears to be close to a return to the Boro squad for the first time this season.
Manager Gareth Southgate has revealed that the Boro midfielder's rehabilitation with an ankle injury has been a success and that he could return to the squad either in Wednesday's home match against Manchester City or in the weekend game against West Ham, also at The Riverside."Julio has been progressing well and hopefully he will be able to join us this week," Southgate has said.
